Story
Ever heard of the OYNB Challenge? This is a personal voyage that encourages participants with problematic relationships with beer to spend a whole year off the amber liquid. David Jackson took part in this program with three friends after his own alcohol battles, and rather than turning him off beer, it turned him into a non-alcoholic beer brewer!
In 2021 David moved his whole family to QLD so that he could get his head around beer production, and after hooking up with renowned brewer Bruce Peachey, he started the (proudly non-alcoholic) Beneficial Beer Co.
Since then, the Beneficial Beer range has grown from the original lager (this beer) to now deliver a range of award-winning brews that all taste remarkably more like alcoholic beer than many of the NOLO (No Or Low alcohol) products on the market.
The OG Stone Cold Non-Alcoholic Lager has a rather classic all-malt backbone and uses lightly aromatic bittering hops to deliver a refreshing, 'I can't believe it's not alcoholic' style brew that is the perfect alternative for any time when alcohol is out.

PAIRING GUIDE
With that very beery, classical malt and hops flavour driving this excellent non-alcoholic beer, you want to reach for foods that work perfectly with a traditional lager, including beery good faves like pork schnitzel, pizza and burgers. But there's more to the pairing adventure here - we like it with fish and chips (especially if you include beer in the batter) and fried tempura vegetables, plus it works wonderfully with a vegan caesar salad (it really does).
