Details
'White Zin' gets a bad wrap in the wine game but here we reckon we've found one that's right up your street! This baby is off-dry and displays notes of strawberries and cream, candied raspberry and cranberry. Dangerously drinkable!

Origin: The spiritual home of rosé is Provence, in Southern France. Mainly Grown In: Rosé is found all over the world these days, but coastal regions are especially well suited to the growing of red grapes for rosé. Key Facts: Rosé is predominantly made from red grape varieties. The colour of the wine is actually from pigments found in the skins of the grapes, so even red grapes have clear-coloured juice. The colour is then ‘bled’ out of the skins by infusing the skins into the juice. So for rosé, the wine simply spends far less time hanging out with the skins! Rarely you will find a rosé that is a combo of white and red grapes – they’re not ‘less good’, just less common. Rosé is super versatile – it suits any occasion. Best to always have a bottle in the fridge, just in case, you know… Wednesday happens or something. Fun Fact: The spectrum of rosé styles is fascinating. Some rosés are so light and crisp that if one tasted them blind, one would think they were a white wine! Whereas others can have so much texture, red fruit and weight that tasted at room temperature, one might think it was a very light red.

Pairing guide
A California rosé is never a bad idea on a sunny day, and this beautifully vibrant bottle is sure to be a real crowd pleaser. Eminently food-friendly, it’s a great choice for pairing with Thai and Vietnamese curries, satay dishes, and with gently-spiced Middle Eastern salads and sides. Sweet and sour fish and seafood dishes, honey-glazed ham and seafood rice dishes will also be fantastic.

Wine region
California, United States
California is a large wine region is located in the United States, known for producing some of the world's most popular and highly-regarded wines. Naturally, the region is located in the state of California, which has a Mediterranean-like climate well-suited to grape growing. The wine-growing area stretches from north to south, with the Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley, and Central Coast being some of the most well-known sub-regions. The first winery in the region was established by Spanish missionaries in 1779, and the wine produced there was used for religious purposes. California is known for producing a wide range of wines, including world-class Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. Some of the most notable wineries in the region include Napa Valley's Robert Mondavi Winery, Stag's Leap, Sonoma Valley's Jordan Vineyard & Winery and the infamous Ridge Vineyards to the south.
