Details
Merlot blends with Canaiolo here creating a super opulent, dense red wine with plenty of drinkability. This is generous and unctuous - one for the full-bodied lovers - with notes of bramble, blackcurrant cordial and Haribo. Grippy tannins compliment the flavours of charcoal and liquorice.

Pairing guide
When it comes to pairing fine food and wine, those Tuscans really do know where it’s at. This gorgeously rich and intense and Canaiolo wine from the Tuscan hills of Italy is as delicious as it is fascinating, and you’re going to find amazing results pairing it up with herb-crusted beef (especially cheaper cuts like skirt steak), pasta in rich tomato and olive sauces, and anything with tahini - that sesame seed kick really works with the subtler flavours in this wine. It’s also a top match for kofta and almost anything with minced lamb and herbs, and for rustic homemade burgers, too.
