Details
This is really nice Prosecco. Slightly golden in the glass and some lively, fine bubbles. Lots of white flower and crisp golden apple. This is elegant and fresh with an awesome focus and intensity. Some Prosecco can be a bit too sweet, but this is really well balanced, with just a hedonistic drop of sugar on the finish. Lovely and moreish.
We’re all Prosecco fans nowadays. The quintessential Italian fizz’s world-dominating nature has been down to a number of factors, although none as vital as the passion, dedication, and meticulous attention to detail shown by producers such as Serena Wines. This beautiful winery was founded in 1881 in the heart of the Prosecco region, and for 140 years has upheld the traditions of the wine style, while simultaneously seeking out ways to consistently up the ante when it comes to excellence, distinction, and truly sumptuous flavours. Now in its fourth and fifth generation of Prosecco vintners, Serena is run today by Giorgio Serena and his son Luca. They’ve worked hard to remain a distinguished operation amid an influx of plucky upstarts on the scene, and draw upon their family heritage, their supremely high quality vineyards, and an ability to express their flawless terroir in every sparkling, delicious glass. Innovative yet traditional, Serena provides Prosecco fans a true taste of the Italian landscape, and bottles which capture their unwavering passion for what they do best.

Pairing guide
There’s a real sense of carefree fun and frivolity that runs through this gorgeous Prosecco from Serena, despite it displaying some serious dedication to the fine craft of Italian sparkling wine. It’s the ideal wine for pairing with a massive array of tasty dishes and ingredients, and works especially well with fruits and fruity appetisers, hard cheeses, and charcuterie… alongside all the dips, pastries, and salads you might pack on a picnic. It’s also great with spicy Asian cuisine, especially chilli noodles, wasabi-spiked sushi, and satay.
