Details
This delicious Pinot Noir is giving everything. On the nose, you've got lush red and black cherry and ripe plum, with hints of raspberry, soft baking spice and a touch of mocha from the oak. On the palate, it's vibrant and beautifully balanced. Juicy red cherry and raspberry lead the way, supported by silky tannins and gentle notes of toast and vanilla. There’s freshness here - smooth, supple and fruit-forward with a lingering red-berry finish. It’s classic California Pinot with a modern, easygoing vibe.
Origin: Burgundy, France. Mainly Grown In: France, Germany, USA, NZ, Italy, Australia, Chile. Key Facts: As a wine drinker, Pinot Noir is one smooth-talking charmer; silken texture, soft tannins, juicy acidity and as light in colour as it is on its feet. It does have a reputation however as a challenging grape to grow - it's very picky about where it is planted and can be tricky to get right. But the toil of growing it is always worth it in the end! Nothing quite compares to the splendour of Pinot Noir - packed with flavours of strawberry, warm baking spices and elegant earthiness. Think of Pinot Noir as the diva of the wine world - like Mariah Carey - if you don't keep it happy, it's a nightmare, but if you get it right, it is amazing! More is never enough. Fun Fact: The name "Pinot" first appeared in print in 1375.

Pairing guide
This Pinot is such a crowd-pleaser and great with food. Absolutely amazing pairings include: BBQ pulled pork buns, roast chicken with thyme and garlic, mild Italian sausages with caramelised onions, stuffed mushrooms with herbs and parmesan, and grilled salmon with a cherry glaze. Want something veggie? Try wild mushroom risotto, lentil and beetroot Wellington, or smoky roasted aubergine tacos with chipotle cream. Basically, if it’s savoury, slightly smoky or gently herby, this Pinot is in. It’s the bottle you bring when you want great quality, great value, and zero stress.

Wine region

California, United States
California is a large wine region is located in the United States, known for producing some of the world's most popular and highly-regarded wines. Naturally, the region is located in the state of California, which has a Mediterranean-like climate well-suited to grape growing. The wine-growing area stretches from north to south, with the Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley, and Central Coast being some of the most well-known sub-regions. The first winery in the region was established by Spanish missionaries in 1779, and the wine produced there was used for religious purposes. California is known for producing a wide range of wines, including world-class Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. Some of the most notable wineries in the region include Napa Valley's Robert Mondavi Winery, Stag's Leap, Sonoma Valley's Jordan Vineyard & Winery and the infamous Ridge Vineyards to the south.
