Details
One for the wine geeks! This wine comes from a 60-year-old vineyard planted at around 400m altitude. Mineral, salty and starting to show some fusel oil, kerosene character (that one might associate with Riesling) after a couple of years in the bottle. This is a wine to think about and enjoy throughout the evening, it's flinty and taut and a subtle concentration of white peach and white blossom.

Pairing guide
Kountoura wines are another lesser-known Greek variety, but we’re confident you’ll become a diehard fan from the very first sip. Once again, the Greeks showcase the versatility of their produce with this bottle - this wine is going to pair with a wide range of dishes and ingredients, including smoked fish like haddock, prawn risotto, grilled chicken breast salads, roast pork with lemon and herbs, and vegetarian dishes featuring spinach, grilled artichoke hearts and corn. Feta filo pies, homemade hummus and couscous salads will also work a treat with this one!
