Details
Made from Sangiovese, this is a lovely iteration of what this grape can do when in the hands of a seriously skilful winemaking team. Red fruit abound, this is high in acidity and layered with rusticity and freshness at the same time. We love it!

Riecine, a boutique winery nestled in the heart of Tuscany's Chianti Classico region, is celebrated for its artisanal approach to winemaking and dedication to producing high-quality wines. Established in 1971 by John Dunkley, a passionate British wine enthusiast, Riecine has become a symbol of excellence and tradition in Italian viticulture. Spanning 22 hectares of organically farmed vineyards, Riecine primarily cultivates Sangiovese, the noble grape variety synonymous with Chianti. The winery's commitment to organic farming and sustainable practices ensures that the grapes are nurtured in harmony with the environment, resulting in wines that express the true essence of their terroir. Riecine's portfolio includes its flagship Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, and a range of limited-production, single-vineyard wines. Each bottle embodies the elegance, complexity, and balance characteristic of the region. The winemaking process at Riecine combines traditional methods with modern techniques, meticulously handling each stage to maintain the highest quality standards.

Pairing guide
Bright and fresh, and yet with a deeply tempting fruitfulness, this Tuscan rosé is exactly the kind of wine we like to sip when taking it easy and enjoying big spreads of all our favourite foods. On the one hand, it’s a real winner when drunk alongside tomato-rich pasta sauces and salads featuring root veggies, whole grains, and grilled halloumi cheese. On the other hand, it’s a beautiful option for pairing with pork sausages and chops, rare rack of lamb, pink duck, and delicate offal preparations of chicken livers. Pâtés and rillettes will also work well, and it’s going to work superbly with charcuterie, too.

Tuscany is a region located in central Italy known for its rolling hills, beautiful countryside, and rich cultural and artistic heritage. But for us, it’s synonymous with wine, mainly those of Chianti. The Tuscany wine region is located in central Italy and is known for producing formidable red wines made from grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. The area is home to several famous wine regions, including Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino, and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, which are known for producing some of Italy's most highly regarded wines. Notable producers include Antinori for their legendary Chianti and Tenuta San Guido for their fabled Sassicaia label.
