Details
This is an incredibly drinkable dare we say, dangerous rosé right here. Beautifully pale; this pink throws notes of chalk and gravel minerality, citrus in spades and wonderful subtle notes of crushed cranberry and green strawberry. Simply a joy to drink. Summer in a glass.
Winegrowers that split their energy between the regions of between Rhône and Provence, Marrenon is a reference point for skillfully blended, authentic French countryside wines. Since 1965 they have utilised a large patchwork of vineyards to create layers in their wines, utilising a range of varieties and regions to bring complexity to traditional blends. They refer to this as a mosaic of terroirs - the mythical mountains, Luberon to the south and Ventoux to the North, forge the character of these appellations: maximum exposure to the sun, tempered by the altitude and the thermal amplitude thanks to the proximity of the Southern Alps, gentle slopes and limestone hillsides, rolling hills exposed to the benefits of the Mistral wind. All these factors produce outstanding blends, orchestrated with the precision of a watchmaker by Philippe Tolleret.

Pairing guide
A truly stunning and utterly elegant rosé, this blushing pink wine is a surefire hit with all your favourite prawn or mixed seafood dishes. Scallops with black pudding is a particularly wonderful pairing, and it’s also great with oily fish like mackerel, sardines or anchovy fillets. Fresh tomato salads, spicy pasta sauces, pizza or garlic and herb pastries will work well, and it’s going to be brilliant with milder Indian curries, rice dishes like paella and risotto, and robust salads of spicy beef, duck or lamb.
