Details
This is a delicate, soft rosé with notes of cantaloupe, redcurrant and fresh strawberries. Elegantly, the palate showcases lots of red berries and a white chocolate character that adds a lovely creaminess to the overall texture of the wine. There is a touch of spice on the finish, that combines seamlessly with fresh, crisp acidity.
Maison Gutowski (M-G) is one of the new kids on the block! It is the result of a work of passion and labour of love from Franco-Swiss entrepreneur Aline Gutowski. Her aim is to make wines which reflect the very best of Provence using old vines from some of the best sites in the appellation. Her mission for the M-G brand lies only in the quality of wine that she produces. Aline has cultivated relationships with a number of specialists across the region who share a common goal, to create wines of excellence. Perhaps the most important relationship she has nurtured is with Johanna Dayer, a consultant winemaker who is helping Aline pursue her dream and overseeing operations. These wines are a delicate, yet very pure expression of what Provence has to offer and we are delighted to say that the 2020 vintage is the first in the UK market (you're welcome). We hope you enjoy, and please join us in welcoming M-G wines to Good Pair Days, and the UK.

Pairing guide
This gorgeous rosé wine from Maison Gutowski is an absolute beauty, and is the perfect reminder that rosé is absolutely not just for banging hot summer days! We loved this wine with tomato-based pasta sauces, and it’s also going to be fabulous with poultry and pork dishes, bacon tarts and frittatas, olives, anchovies, and other salty ingredients. Halloumi salads work brilliantly, and delicate offal like chicken livers will also be fantastic here.

Wine region

Provence, France
Provence is a wine region in southeastern France best known for its delicious rosé wines and beautiful beaches. It's also home to a number of protected wine appellations, such as the Côtes de Provence AOC and the Bandol AOC, which produce some of the best rosé wines in the world. Located on the Mediterranean Sea, this region has a warm and sunny climate, with long, hot summers and mild, wet winters. The landscape is filled with rolling hills, and picturesque villages on a gorgeous coastline, making it a holiday hub for many - sand in your toes, and rosé on the beach, anyone? But if rosé isn't your thing, the region also produces white and red wines, predominantly made from a variety of grape varieties, including Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault. Whether you're a wine enthusiast or just looking for a fun and relaxing vacation, Provence has something for everyone.
