Details
Simply delicious, this rosé made from perfectly ripe Syrah grapes is a joy to drink. A fermentation at cool temperatures works well to preserve those beautiful top notes of pear drop and strawberry. This is bright and vivid with lots of energy and freshness in the mouth. Easy-drinking.

'Les Prés Verts', translating to 'The Green Meadows' is a very apt description for this brand new, sensational range of great value wines that we here at GPD have recently discovered. Hailing from organic vineyards in the sun-drenched vineyards of southern France, we are ecstatic to bring you these beauties and can't wait to see what you think. Southern France is a hotbed for a multitude of grape varieties from a range of different soil types and micro-climates, making the region a go-to favourite for sourcing top-value juice. Les Prés Verts comprises four delicious wines; two whites, made from Vermentino (also known as Rolle in this part of the world, usually playing a part in the awesome rosé wines from Provence) and Chardonnay, a deliciously crisp rosé and a perfectly peppery Syrah. The entire range displays outstanding typicality and fruit purity, you won't be disappointed. This is one of our own!

Pairing guide
We just can’t get enough of this elegant blushing wine from Les Prés Verts, which offers no shortage of versatility when it comes to food pairing. We especially enjoyed it with salads and pasta dishes featuring salmon and tuna - a good Niçoise salad would work especially well - and with classic seafood soups and stews, grilled vegetables and picnic favourites such as pasta salad and dips with crudités. It’s a great wine for pairing with salty cheeses, olives and charcuterie, and will also work well with herb-heavy sausages and savoury pastries, too.

Wine region
Pays d'Oc, France
Pays d'Oc is a wine region located in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France. It is known for producing a wide variety of wine styles, including red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines. The region has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters, which allows for the production of full-bodied red wines made from grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, and Carignan. Pays d'Oc also produces aromatic white wines made from grape varieties such as Viognier and Chardonnay, as well as crisp rosé wines made from Grenache and Cinsault. The region is known for its innovative winemaking techniques and is home to a number of small, artisanal wineries but is also one of France's most important regions in terms of its output.
