Details
Creamy, fruit-forward and deeply inviting, this rosé wine pours a glowing amber-orange in the glass. The nose is a dreamy swirl of strawberry ice cream, papaya, buttered pastry, and ripe raspberries, with hints of caramelised fruit and vanilla. On the palate, it’s dry with mouthwatering acidity and a generous, rounded body. A bold and delicious wine with real character.

L’Entremetteuse is one of those rare projects that feels genuinely personal. It’s the brainchild of French winemaker Laurence Real and her husband Pablo Bastías, who’ve carved out something quietly radical in the Colchagua Valley. They’re not chasing scores or trends - this is all about small-batch, hands-on winemaking that lets the vineyard do the talking. Each wine is a snapshot of a place: coastal freshness, mountain grip, or that in-between tension. There’s no formula, just instinct, low intervention, and a deep respect for the land. Everything here is done gently, thoughtfully - grapes handpicked from top vineyard sites, fermented in amphora or tiny tanks, moved by gravity, not pumps. Minimal sulphites, minimal fuss. It’s almost garage winemaking, but without the ego - just real, honest juice with a ton of character. In a wine scene that can sometimes feel a little polished and predictable, L’Entremetteuse brings something raw, expressive, and refreshingly unfiltered. If you're into wines that feel alive in the glass, this is one to watch.

Pairing guide
This rosé’s creamy texture and fruit-forward depth make it perfect with bold, savoury-sweet dishes. Try it with duck and cherry tagine to echo its spiced, caramelised notes, or a butternut squash and sage risotto for a buttery, earthy pairing. For vegan options, go with roasted cauliflower steak and romesco or miso-glazed aubergine with sesame and coriander - both bring out the wine’s savoury, complex edge.
