Details
A Cabernet Franc from stony-clay soils that spends two years in barrel. Expect lots of peppery spice from top to bottom here. This is a wine with notes of anise and clove aromatics, with silky, velvety tannins and plush fruit through the mid-palate. There is sweetness from oak here, sure, but it's so well integrated through to a long finish.

Pairing guide
We all love a good Cabernet Franc when meal times roll around - there’s something about the depth and heft of this red wine style that always manages to hit the spot! We loved this release from La Seigneurie with a proper beef and red wine stew, but it’s equally good with slow-cooked lamb shoulder, brisket dishes, homemade burgers or a vegetarian bolognese. Lentil and bean hotpots, cheesy polenta, and lasagna or cottage pie will also work brilliantly.
