Details
Pinot Noir is known for being a bit fussy, but when it’s happy, it’s pure magic – and this one’s positively beaming. Red cherry, cranberry, and a gentle earthy hum all glide over a silky, graceful palate. Elegant, charming, and far too easy to love.
The French wine scene can be somewhat of a minefield at times, all we really want is a supplier that makes wines from all across the country while still displaying regional and sub-regional typicity.. Simple right?!? Enter Maison Johanès Boubée, a winery that has succeeded in the French landscape, albeit relatively unknown outside its borders. The winery has access to all the finest products around the country, and aside from an impressive winemaking team, it has also employed sommeliers to taste each wine and confirm that it meets the all-important terroir feel of each region. The winery is a nod to the old-school way, where you didn’t need to boast a fancy label to sell a bottle of wine, and the juice inside is the most crucial part. We have tasted through an extensive range of their wines and are very impressed with the overall quality in each bottle. The La Francette range is sourced from the warm, sunny part of France, from Languedoc to the Rhone, where the sun shines and the grapes ripen quickly.

Light, silky, and brimming with red cherry and subtle earthy notes, La Francette Pinot Noir is an elegant partner for lighter meats and vegetable-driven dishes. Enjoy it with roast duck, grilled salmon, or mushroom risotto. It also works well with soft cheeses, charcuterie, or a beetroot and goat cheese salad. Slightly chilled, it’s perfect for warmer weather dining.
