Details
Provence knows rosé better than just about anyone, and this is a lovely example of why. Sweet raspberry and a hint of dried thyme give it a distinctly southern French character, while a creamy, rounded texture makes it as comfortable at the dinner table as it is poolside with nothing but good company

The French wine scene can be somewhat of a minefield at times, all we really want is a supplier that makes wines from all across the country while still displaying regional and sub-regional typicity.. Simple right?!? Well, enter Maison Johanès Boubée, a winery that has succeeded in the French landscape while remaining relatively unknown outside its borders. The winery has access to all the goodies around the country, and, aside from an impressive winemaking team, it also employs sommeliers to taste each wine and confirm it captures the all-important terroir feel of each region. The winery is a nod to the old-school way, where you didn’t need to boast a fancy label to sell a bottle of wine, and the juice inside is the most important part. We have tasted a wide range of their wines and are very impressed with the overall quality of each bottle. The La Cave D'Augustin Florent range focuses on single regions; whether it be Cahors, Burgundy, Jurançon or Minervois, there will be something for everyone.

Pairing guide
This is a classically styled and effortlessly versatile Provençal rosé that is as happy at the dinner table as it is in the sunshine with good company. Grilled prawns with a herb butter, a classic niçoise salad or some charcuterie with soft cheeses and fresh bread are all wonderful starting points that suit the wine's raspberry and dried thyme character beautifully. That creamy, rounded texture also makes it a natural with a tomato and goat's cheese tart, some grilled chicken with herbes de Provence or a light ratatouille. For something more relaxed, a good soft brie, some good olives and a little prosciutto is really all you need whether you're poolside or on the couch.

Provence is a wine region in southeastern France best known for its delicious rosé wines and beautiful beaches. It's also home to a number of protected wine appellations, such as the Côtes de Provence AOC and the Bandol AOC, which produce some of the best rosé wines in the world. Located on the Mediterranean Sea, this region has a warm and sunny climate, with long, hot summers and mild, wet winters. The landscape is filled with rolling hills, and picturesque villages on a gorgeous coastline, making it a holiday hub for many - sand in your toes, and rosé on the beach, anyone? But if rosé isn't your thing, the region also produces white and red wines, predominantly made from a variety of grape varieties, including Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault. Whether you're a wine enthusiast or just looking for a fun and relaxing vacation, Provence has something for everyone.
