Details
Delicate, luminous pink in the glass, with impossibly fine, creamy bubbles. The nose floats between redcurrant, crushed strawberry, rhubarb and a hint of roasted plum, with a soft buttery note underneath. On the palate it’s vibrant and precise, with raspberries, wild strawberries, a touch of cream, all carried by Chardonnay-driven freshness and finished with a hint of raspberry leaf and limestone minerality. It's elegant, poised, and endlessly drinkable. Think strawberries and cream, but in pointe shoes.
This is Champagne with emotion at its core. Terre d’Émotion is Jean-Marc Charpentier’s love letter to his land, his family, and time itself. Eight generations deep in Charly-sur-Marne, Jean-Marc is one of those rare growers who blends serious technical mastery with intuition, sensitivity and a deep respect for nature. Since introducing biodynamics back in 2009 (long before it became fashionable), he’s been quietly reshaping what Marne Valley Champagne can be: expressive, precise, and alive. His vineyards sit on steep, limestone-rich slopes across 72 individual plots, each farmed with obsessive care and a gentle, human touch. For this rosé, Jean-Marc went back to the family archives and pulled out something special. Instead of the usual Pinot-heavy approach, he flipped the script with a striking 88% Chardonnay - pure freshness, lift and grace - then added a hint of red wine made from Pinot Meunier grown in Les Chauffours, the estate’s oldest Meunier plot, planted in 1961. That fruit, soaked in limestone and silex from the Charly-sur-Marne amphitheatre, brings depth and soul. A full 60 months on the lees later, the result is Champagne that feels less like a product and more like a performance.

Pairing guide
This is a dream aperitif, but it absolutely shines with food. Try it with veal carpaccio, roasted pork belly with apple and fennel, or even lightly spiced duck. Seafood lovers: scallops with beurre blanc or salmon with rhubarb glaze will sing. For a vegan pairing, go for roasted beetroot with raspberry vinegar and hazelnuts, or a strawberry and tomato salad with basil and olive oil - the wine’s acidity and red-fruit purity lock straight in. Pretty, yes - but make no mistake, this rosé has depth, grace, and serious presence and requires a food matching that will stand up to its majesty!

Champagne, France
Champagne is the ultimate party starter! This sparkling wine hails from the famous chalky soils of the Champagne region in northern France and is made using a special method called "méthode champenoise" that gives it its signature bubbles. Pop open a bottle of Champagne at your next celebration and watch the good times and fizz flow! Whether you prefer a dry Brut or a sweeter Demi-Sec, there's a Champagne for every occasion. There are three main grape varieties used in the region, these are Pinot Noir (red), Pinot Meunier (also red) and Chardonnay (white). Each of these brings a unique set of characteristics to Champagne.
