Details
Provence rosé is basically summer bottled, and this one is no exception. Pale pink, fragrant with strawberries, white peach and a whisper of herbs, it’s breezy, light, and so dangerously drinkable you might forget to share. Best served with sunshine and smug grins.
The French wine scene can be somewhat of a minefield at times, all we really want is a supplier that makes wines from all across the country while still displaying regional and sub-regional typicity.. Simple right?!? Enter Maison Johanès Boubée, a winery that has succeeded in the French landscape, albeit relatively unknown outside its borders. The winery has access to all the finest products around the country, and aside from an impressive winemaking team, it has also employed sommeliers to taste each wine and confirm that it meets the all-important terroir feel of each region. The winery is a nod to the old-school way, where you didn’t need to boast a fancy label to sell a bottle of wine, and the juice inside is the most crucial part. We have tasted through an extensive range of their wines and are very impressed with the overall quality in each bottle. Grain de Soleil represents a fine focus on all things rosé, and specifically Provence rosé.

Wine region

Provence, France
Provence is a wine region in southeastern France best known for its delicious rosé wines and beautiful beaches. It's also home to a number of protected wine appellations, such as the Côtes de Provence AOC and the Bandol AOC, which produce some of the best rosé wines in the world. Located on the Mediterranean Sea, this region has a warm and sunny climate, with long, hot summers and mild, wet winters. The landscape is filled with rolling hills, and picturesque villages on a gorgeous coastline, making it a holiday hub for many - sand in your toes, and rosé on the beach, anyone? But if rosé isn't your thing, the region also produces white and red wines, predominantly made from a variety of grape varieties, including Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault. Whether you're a wine enthusiast or just looking for a fun and relaxing vacation, Provence has something for everyone.
