Details
OK so this is a bit of a curveball, and we love it! A blend of two red grapes, País and Carignan, but made as a white wine (a sort of 'Blanc de Noirs' if you will). A truly unique and surprising wine, with hints of cashew and white peach, lemon rind and onion skin. Complex, with a bit of chew, salinity and a waxy, mineral mouthfeel.
Once a humble 'garage project' operation, the Garage Wine Co. has blossomed into one of Chile's most enchanting, important cult wineries. Born from the passion of a few friends in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis, the winery has woven a tale of resilience and determination. With a focus on small-lot, single-vineyard wines, Garage Wine Co. champions the idea that great wine is made in the vineyard, not the cellar. Their vines, scattered across the Maule Valley, are dry-farmed and worked by hand, respecting the area's winemaking traditions. All of their wines are made in a lo-fi, minimal-intervention way with natural yeasts, ignorer to give as try a reflection of their terroir as possible. Each bottle tells a story of the unique terroir, capturing the essence of Chile's wine heritage in every sip. Truly, Garage Wine Co. is a testament to the power of dreams, the strength of community, and the magic of wine.

Pairing guide
If you haven’t already fallen in love with mineral Chilean white wines, you’re sure to be a convert after trying this bottle from Garage Wine, and checking out its versatility when it comes to food pairing! It’s a top-notch wine for serving alongside Mediterranean-style seafood dishes - we loved it with spicy calamari or Greek-style mussels with olives and herbs. It’s also great with snapper and barramundi, roast chicken or turkey salads, green leafy vegetables and feta cheese.
