Details
Orange wine? Say hello to a flavour-filled glassful of joy! This organic, one-litre skin contact is made from 100% Cataratto grapes from sunbaked Sicily. This is a citrus-driven wonder and just perfect for the warmer nights and is surprisingly, not reliant on food to be enjoyed. Utterly delish!

Siblings Flavia and Giacomo Rallo head up the innovative and groundbreaking Flavia Rebellious Wines which is based out of the ancient area of Marsala in Sicily. Everything here is done as naturally as possible, and these guys are pushing to boat out regarding innovation and pragmatism. All of the awesome wines here are unfiltered, and organic and sit on their natural lees (yeasts) for a sustained period of time following fermentation - just to add a layer of 'funk' to their offering! The mantra is in the name, and Flavia Rebellious lay claim to the world's first ever one-litre bottle of wine that has been naturally made out of Etna, the world-famous volcanic region of Sicily. For anyone looking to take a deeper dive into the world of natural wine, then there is no better place to start than with these guys. Whilst their wines may be as natural and quirky as they come, they are also impeccably clean and we totally love them here at Good Pair Days HQ. Don't be shy, get these into your glass today, you won't be disappointed!

Pairing guide
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again - orange is right up there with our favourite wine styles, not least because of the exceptional food pairing possibilities it presents. This wine is going to pair beautifully with roasted cauliflower, Moroccan salads, Spanish favourites like seafood or chicken paella and all kinds of roast white meats, and works brilliantly with barbecued pork sausages and prawns, too. Spanish cheeses, grilled sardines, potato salads and green vegetables like asparagus will also hit the spot in style.

Wine region
Sicily, Italy
Sicily is a productive island located in the Mediterranean Sea, off the southern coast of Italy. The island has a varied landscape, with low coastal plains to hills and even active volcanic mountains. The climate is Mediterranean, with hot, dry summers and mild winters. Disease pressure is low thanks to drying coastal breezes making the region ideal for organic farming practices. The soils are volcanic, sandy, and clay. Sicily can be divided into three wine regions, including the volcanic Etna DOC on the eastern side of the island, known for its red wines made from the Nerello Mascalese grape. The Marsala DOC on the island's western side is known for its fortified wines. The remaining Southeast of the Island produces a range of wines, notably Frappato and Nero d’Avola.
