Details
This is a must-have in anybody's wine rack. A blend of Chenin Blanc, Riesling and Pinot Gris. Crisp with so much complexity and layers to the mouthfeel. The fruit is destemmed and fermented on the skins, resulting in a beautiful showcase of flavour. This is a pretty serious wine and made for food!
Andrew Jones spent a lot of time exploring vineyards all over the Central Coast of California and found some pretty interesting sites along the way. He has a keen eye for 'diamond in the rough' sites and he is keen to champion vineyards that he considers to have bags of potential, but many might render useless, for one reason or another. The Field Recordings portfolio is his impressive personal account and catalogue of the terroirs that he holds closest to his heart. His striking 'Wonderwall' range is not only beautifully labelled, but also features some of the 20th century’s most famous jazz musicians on the labels – Duke Ellington for the Chardonnay, Louis Armstrong on the Pinot Noir, and Buddy Rich on the Syrah. The Neverland Cabernet Sauvignon celebrates “the American Riviera”. Whatever wine you choose to take from Andrew, you can always be sure that they will be jam packed full of personality and extremely high quality.

Pairing guide
This delightful skin contact wine from the Field Recordings is yet more proof that orange wine is so much more than a passing fad - it’s here to stay! When it comes to food pairing, this wine loves the earthy flavours of grain-based salads, lamb burgers slicked with a punchy tahini, and fried Indian starters - especially those featuring chickpeas or curried vegetables. However, you’ll also get great results with freshwater fish, trout dishes, and even gently spiced pork - give it a try and see for yourself!

Wine region

California, United States
California is a large wine region is located in the United States, known for producing some of the world's most popular and highly-regarded wines. Naturally, the region is located in the state of California, which has a Mediterranean-like climate well-suited to grape growing. The wine-growing area stretches from north to south, with the Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley, and Central Coast being some of the most well-known sub-regions. The first winery in the region was established by Spanish missionaries in 1779, and the wine produced there was used for religious purposes. California is known for producing a wide range of wines, including world-class Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. Some of the most notable wineries in the region include Napa Valley's Robert Mondavi Winery, Stag's Leap, Sonoma Valley's Jordan Vineyard & Winery and the infamous Ridge Vineyards to the south.
