Details
Gelber Muskateller is famous for its bold, fragrant aromatics - and this bottle totally delivers. It’s a real stunner, bursting with tropical fruit and lifted by a fresh hit of white pepper and herbs. Super pure and packed with juicy, crystalline fruit, it’s vibrant and full of character. You might notice a gentle spritz when you first crack it open, but give it a few minutes in the glass and it settles beautifully. Bright, expressive, and seriously moreish!
Say hello to Familie Mantler, the proud producers behind our exclusive Good Vibes range, made just for Good Pair Days. This family-run winery has deep roots, starting back in the 1950s when 18-year-old Karl Mantler kicked things off. Fast forward three generations, and the estate is still thriving under the care of his son Thomas - affectionately known as both the “CEO and cleaning lady.” Thomas takes a hands-on approach to everything: from managing the winemaking, to tending the vines, and even hopping in the van to handle local deliveries. His down-to-earth style and deep expertise shine through in every bottle - especially in this standout, great-value range. The family specialises in the classic Austrian grapes you’d expect: Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, and Zweigelt for the reds - but they’ve also got a soft spot for the lesser-known Roter Veltliner. Despite having no relation to Grüner, and being a bit of an underdog in Austria, Thomas and the team have stuck with it and, we reckon, totally nailed it. Their version is fresh, elegant, and full of personality - just like the people behind it. Oh, and did we mention they practise organic viticulture too? Good wines, good people, and now... Good Vibes!

Pairing guide
If you haven’t yet discovered the joys of Gelber Muskateller, you’re in for something special - and if you’re already a fan, you won’t need any convincing. This bottle is a real beauty! It’s super versatile when it comes to food, too. Think comforting dishes like roast pork with apple and fennel, crispy fried chicken, or herby white fish. It also works a treat with sushi, chicken katsu, and lightly spiced seafood curries. For something lighter, try it with goat’s cheese and roasted beetroot salad - or go vegan with a miso-glazed eggplant dish or tofu rice bowls packed with fresh herbs and greens. Yum!

Wine region
Weinviertel, Austria
Weinviertel is the largest wine region in Austria, located in the northeastern part of the country. Vineyards here are characterised by deep loess soils, which is well documented to contribute to the wines' distinct peppery and spicy flavours. The top wine style produced in Weinviertel is decidedly Grüner Veltliner, a dry white wine that is known for its crisp acidity and aromas of citrus, green apple, and white pepper. Other notable varietals include Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch, which produce medium-bodied red wines with fruit-forward flavors. The top sub-regions within Weinviertel include Falkenstein and Poysdorf, which are renowned for producing long-lived Grüner Veltliner wines. Overall, Weinviertel is a must-visit on Austria’s wine region bucket list.
