This is a typical Tejo blend of Fernão Pires and Arinto displaying pure, crystalline notes of pear and peachy stone fruit. With bags of freshness and ripe lemon high notes, this is a seriously enjoyable number.
Falua Winery, situated in the enchanting Tejo region alongside the Tagus River, is a true gem for wine lovers. This modern marvel of a winery, located just a short jaunt from Lisbon, seamlessly blends cutting-edge technology with the timeless allure of traditional winemaking. As a proud ambassador of Portugal's rich winemaking heritage, Falua has carved out a well-deserved spot on the global stage. Falua own some of the most interesting vineyards in the Tejo region; when we visited back in 2023 we were blown away by some of their old vine Castelão planted in stony old vineyards. So, whether you're a seasoned oenophile or simply someone who savours a splendid glass of wine, Falua Winery is an absolute must-visit. Here, modern innovation dances hand in hand with the timeless art of winemaking, giving rise to wines that are as vibrant and alluring as the region they call home.

Pairing guide
This blend of Fernão Pires and Arinto varieties results in a delightful refreshing and zesty wine - the perfect choice for matching with zippy flavours, light bites and more hearty dinners alike. We reckon it works best with fried seafood dishes like crab fritters or Thai fishcakes, but it’s going to be excellent with all kinds of white fish recipes, chicken breast creations and simple green salads. Couscous and fried rice will work well, as will spicy peri-peri chicken and fish, satay skewers and Japanese classics like katsu or soba noodles.
