This is a unique blend of Syrah and Merlot. The GR-36 is full of opulent ripe berry fruit. It's dense, layered and generous with lashings of blackberries and a fabulous gravelly, almost meaty undertow. A wine for the full-bodied lovers out there, it's chunky and doesn't pull any punches.

Domaine Blanc Plume is an impressive outfit situated in the Côtes Catalanes area of southern France. A producer of fine natural wine, the team here farms according to biodynamic principles, adopting the mantra that 'we only occupy our children's land for a short time, so it is up to us to take good care of it'. Naturally, with a big focus on biodiversity, you will find over 47 different species of birds across the estate alongside a rich array of teeming wildlife among their old vines (up to 80 years old). Syrah, Carignan, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Grenache are all planted here, as well as Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc white varieties. Head winemaker Raphaël Colin favours natural fermentations with wild, indigenous yeasts, mostly carried out in clay amphora to preserve as much primal fruit in his wines as possible. The team gained the prestigious Demeter certification in 2020, the industry's most coveted biodynamic club.
