Details
Super gluggable. This baby is packed full of fresh, ripe blueberry fruit. It's not too heavy, but not too light either, everything is nicely in check with a dusting of black pepper across the nose. The palate is rich and opulent with a nice focus and bags of fruit concentration. Easy drinking.
Origin: Aragon, Spain. Mainly Grown In: France, Spain, Italy, USA, Australia. Key Facts: Grenache is a life-of-the-party kind of grape — fun, fruity, and charismatic with a spicy pep to its feet and an inviting warmth of approachability. And, despite its Spanish origin and well established 19th century home in France (where it so happened to be the Pope’s wine of choice) the world's oldest continuously producing Grenache vines are actually where the life of the party always has been; Australia. Grenache is lighter in body and softer in tannin than many other red grapes which is why it is both so easy to drink on its own and why it's teamed up to make blends (like GSM) with other grapes that may need a friendlier touch to soften up them up and chill out their bold, up-tight and tannic tendencies. Fun Fact: In Spain, Grenache is called "Garnacha".

Pairing guide
With its gorgeous fruit flavours and no shortage of juiciness, this stunning Grenache from the uber-talented Delincuente winemakers definitely knows how to please the palate. This is the ideal wine for a big family Sunday lunch - a whole roast chicken, heaps of roast potatoes, green veg, and an unctuous gravy... perfect! It’s going to be fabulous with grilled lamb, cassoulet, sausage and mash, and meat pies, and will also work brilliantly with tomato-based Indian curries and richer lentil dhals.

Wine region
Aragon, Spain
Aragon is a region in northeastern Spain known for its beautiful landscapes and rich cultural heritage. It's also famous for its wine, particularly the Garnacha-based red wines from the Campo de Borja region and the full-bodied reds and fruity whites from the Somontano region. Aragon wineries also use ancient grape varieties like Moristel and Parraleta, giving the wines a unique taste.
