Details
Asolo is one of the best places to source Prosecco from and this stunner delivers on that promise. Look out for delightful golden notes of hay, syrup and fresh green apples on the nose. This fizz displays plenty of freshness on the palate with fine, persistent bubbles and a long, drawn-out finish that can only be attributed to DOCG fruit.

Società Agricola Colli Asolani was formed in 1990 by Giovanni Bedin who owned a vine nursery in Veneto, Italy. However, for a better understanding of this producer's history, we need to go back to his grandfather, Giacomo who purchased land in 1948 and planted his vines. Over the decades the family business has been passed from father to son and now lies in the capable hands of Enrico Bedin. Together with his brothers, Luigi, Damiano and Denis, the four have turned Colli Asolani into a modern outfit that is producing some of the best Prosecco around. The estate now owns around 40 hectares of vineyards that cover both DOC and DOCG (Italy's highest mark of quality) sub-regions. Of particular note is the Asolo DOCG, which in 2014 was conveniently named Colli Asolani (from Asolo), a name that the Bedin's winery and their brand now share with this prestigious Prosecco-producing region. Across their range, the Bedins are producing wonderfully clean and fresh examples of declassified 'frizzante' style wines, through to precise Proseccos that range in their style and sweetness. We are delighted to be working with them here at Good Pair Days.
