Details
Another knockout from Provence folks. This organic rosé displays a peachy nose, with plenty of red currant, strawberry and red cherry notes. In the mouth, the texture is almost oily with excellent freshness, a cherry drop candied fruit set and a beautiful, herbal, garrigue quality. Provence rosé at its best, from a producer that puts the environment front a centre of everything they do.

We are delighted to bring you another extremely high-quality Provençal producer here at Good Pair Days. Cant get enough of Provence? Then you have come to the right place my friend! The team at Château La Mascaronne have an unwavering commitment to the local environment. In their own words, it's not so much a philosophy, but a "prerequisite" to all that they do. All wines are certified organic, and the estate is a myriad of vineyards, olive groves and woodland. Their lands are stunning, made famous by the stone walled terraces and hilly, contoured landscape. In 2020 Michel Reybier brought the estate into his portfolio, which also includes the famous Cos d'Estournel in Bordeaux, as well as a number of other estates across Europe. The wines of La Mascaronne are shining examples of Provençal wine under the watchful eye of Nathalie Longefay, who believes that the estate boasts some of the best vineyards and terroir in the region.

Pairing guide
With its pale pink hue and refreshing flavours of lime and exotic fruits, this elegant rosé really epitomises the Provencal style we all know and love. It’s a great choice for food pairing, especially when matched with the kind of easy-going dishes we all enjoy on a sunny day in the park. Pies and pastries are a great match, as are pasta salads, classic salads like Nicoise or chicken Caesar, homemade pesto and dips such as tapenade, cured meats, strong cheeses, and - of course - fresh and raw seafood.

Wine region
Provence, France
Provence is a wine region in southeastern France best known for its delicious rosé wines and beautiful beaches. It's also home to a number of protected wine appellations, such as the Côtes de Provence AOC and the Bandol AOC, which produce some of the best rosé wines in the world. Located on the Mediterranean Sea, this region has a warm and sunny climate, with long, hot summers and mild, wet winters. The landscape is filled with rolling hills, and picturesque villages on a gorgeous coastline, making it a holiday hub for many - sand in your toes, and rosé on the beach, anyone? But if rosé isn't your thing, the region also produces white and red wines, predominantly made from a variety of grape varieties, including Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault. Whether you're a wine enthusiast or just looking for a fun and relaxing vacation, Provence has something for everyone.
