Details
Pouring a beautiful delicate pink, the nose on this fab rosé jumps straight into bright red berry fruit territory: raspberry, wild strawberry and redcurrant, with a fun, slightly confected edge like strawberry laces and watermelon. On the palate it’s dry, but those candy-like notes give a gentle illusion of sweetness. It’s bursting with red berries and finishes with a lovely slightly savoury, Campari-like edge.
If you’re going to talk about Bodegas Esteban Martín, you’ve got to start with graft, vision, and a family that genuinely gets stuff done. These guys didn’t wake up one day and decide to be a winery, they built it the long way round. With deep roots in agriculture and farming, this is a family that knows land, respects it, and plays the long game. Three generations now work side by side, blending tradition with smart, modern thinking, all backed by top-tier vineyards and seriously slick winemaking kit. It’s ambitious, but never flashy - quality-first, quietly confident, and absolutely dialled in. What really makes them special, though, is the people. This isn’t a vanity project or a one-person show, it’s a full-on team effort, from vineyard crews to cellar hands, lab geeks to logistics legends. Everyone’s pulling in the same direction, putting a bit of themselves into every bottle, and it shows. They’re proof that when you grow together, you get better together, which brings us neatly to Caprichos. This is our joint passion project: a label born from shared ideas, trust, and a bit of creative mischief. A wine with personality, made by people who care, and a collaboration we’re seriously proud of. As the proverb goes: go together, go far (preferably with a glass in hand)!

Pairing guide
This is picnic-core perfection. Go for prosciutto and melon, or grilled prawns with a sweet chilli and lime glaze. If you're feeling creative, try flatbread with whipped feta, strawberries and cracked black pepper - it's absolutely de-lish! For vegan vibes, we're talking watermelon, tomato and basil salad with olive oil and flaky salt, or roasted beetroot with raspberry vinaigrette and pistachio. Fresh, juicy food works perfectly with this rosé.
