Details
Straight off the pour, this Garnacha blend is all juicy red cherry, raspberry, blackberry and ripe plum, backed by a hit of white pepper spice that keeps things spicy. There’s a gentle layer of dried herbs bringing a savoury edge, while soft notes of chocolate smooth everything out. The balance is spot on - bold fruit without the weight, flavour without the fuss. Basically: a super drinkable, seriously satisfying vino.

If you’re going to talk about Bodegas Esteban Martín, you’ve got to start with graft, vision, and a family that genuinely gets stuff done. These guys didn’t wake up one day and decide to be a winery, they built it the long way round. With deep roots in agriculture and farming, this is a family that knows land, respects it, and plays the long game. Three generations now work side by side, blending tradition with smart, modern thinking, all backed by top-tier vineyards and seriously slick winemaking kit. It’s ambitious, but never flashy - quality-first, quietly confident, and absolutely dialled in. What really makes them special, though, is the people. This isn’t a vanity project or a one-person show, it’s a full-on team effort, from vineyard crews to cellar hands, lab geeks to logistics legends. Everyone’s pulling in the same direction, putting a bit of themselves into every bottle, and it shows. They’re proof that when you grow together, you get better together, which brings us neatly to Caprichos. This is our joint passion project: a label born from shared ideas, trust, and a bit of creative mischief. A wine with personality, made by people who care, and a collaboration we’re seriously proud of. As the proverb goes: go together, go far (preferably with a glass in hand)!

Pairing guide
This wine loves bold, unfussy food. Think chorizo and chickpea stew, Indian curry, or smashed burgers with caramelised onions and smoked paprika. For something a little different, try roasted aubergine loaded with harissa, honey and yoghurt. If you're looking for a vegan pairing, go for patatas bravas with spicy tomato sauce, or black bean and mushroom tacos with cumin, coriander and a squeeze of lime. Big flavours and a hint of spice are exactly how this wine rolls.
