Details
This might be one of the best Frizzante styles of Prosecco around. The texture of those frothy bubbles across the palate marries effortlessly with incredible intensity of bright, pear skin and orchard fruit. This is an aromatic sparkler, with a keen focus on purity of fruit and freshness. Look out for the faintest whiff of sweetness on the finish, which rounds this off perfectly.
Cá Morlin is the result of a dynamic project between one of our favourite supply partners, Liberty Wines and Venetian-born Andrea Morlin. Together, they have been successfully curating quite outstanding and approachable styles of Prosecco from the romantic rolling hills of Italy's northeast since the mid-1990s. Andrea has partnered up with Matt Thomson, an award-winning winemaker in his own right from New Zealand. Together the pair operate out of a small winery in the region where they command full control over their wines, from vineyard to bottle. Everything is managed by hand - par for the course in many of the region's vineyards given that many plots are planted on steep hills, making it impossible for heavy picking machinery to enter the vineyard. Across the range, Matt and Andrea have maintained that beautiful, bright aromatic vibrance to their wines. They produce a lightly sparkling Frizzante wine, alongside a more serious DOCG (top quality) Spumante fizz and have just launched a Rosé Prosecco, following the recent addition of this style into one of Italy's most famous appellations.

Pairing guide
With its elegant bubbles and bright crispness, this gorgeous Prosecco is the ideal food-pairing fizz for a relaxed lunch date or celebration dinner. It’s going to pair fantastically with light fish dishes, grilled chicken, seared seafood and fresh salads, and will also work splendidly with charcuterie boards and cheeses. It’s a great option for fruity desserts, too, and with anything that combines sweet and savoury flavours, such as monkfish with mango or camembert with cranberries.
