Details
This fab white opens with a playful, confected nose - think green apple lollipop, pear drops and candied lime - lifted by lemon, a touch of passionfruit, cut grass, and white flowers. Though it smells like it might lean sweet, it’s dry, with refreshing acidity. It's a bright, charming and approachable sip with plenty of zest.
Origin: Likely France, but unconfirmed. Possibly a wild grape variety that was indigenous to multiple areas in slightly different forms. Mainly Grown In: France, New Zealand, Italy, Chile, USA, South Africa and Australia. Key Facts: If you’re a fan of a lime twist in your drinks, the smell of fresh-cut grass in the morning, and have been told you are intense or that "you sure stand out in a crowd", well, you’ve met your match. Sauvignon Blanc is an all-dials-at-max kind of grape, which means it's going to fist pump your senses with its intense (and sometimes pungent) aromas, mouth-watering freshness and a cleansing herbaceous character. As one of the most planted white grapes in the world, it’s no wonder it has claimed hearts in various styles; it can be lean and zesty when it’s from cooler climates and fuller and more tropical when grown in warmer ones. Fun Fact: Did you know that Sauvignon Blanc is the third most planted white grape in the world? It has over 275,000 acres planted world wide.

Pairing guide
This wine's candied citrus notes and crisp acidity make it a great partner for dishes with freshness and a bit of playful contrast. Try Vietnamese rice paper rolls with lime–mint dipping sauce, or crispy chicken schnitzel with a green apple–herb slaw to echo the wine’s sweet-meets-zesty profile. A light fish ceviche with grapefruit and jalapeño works beautifully with its citrus and grassy hints. For a vegan option, pair it with grilled corn and avocado salad with a cilantro–lime vinaigrette, which adds texture and brightness to match the wine’s lively, candy-kissed character.
