Details
Ripe orchard fruit leads the way here, with yellow apple and pear skin layered with juicy peach and a touch of pineapple. Delicate white florals of blossom and jasmine lift the nose, while a subtle creamy note of butter and vanilla adds depth without seeing any oak. It's dry and beautifully balanced, the palate has fresh, mouth-watering acidity, a mineral edge and impressive flavour intensity. This is a seriously well-made Chardy that punches well above its weight!

We’re very excited to introduce our GPD collaboration with Bodega Atamisque, bringing you the Picaflor range - a joyful, fruit-forward collection that showcases just how versatile and delicious Uco Valley wines can be. This is a full line-up of white, rosé and red, each wine made to be approachable, vibrant and seriously drinkable, while still staying true to its high-altitude roots. Picaflor is all about pure expression: fresh flavours, bright acidity and varietal character front and centre - wines that feel just as good on a weeknight as they do poured around a table with friends. Bodega Atamisque sits high in San José, Tupungato, at 1,300 metres above sea level, surrounded by wild forest and dramatic Andean landscapes. Owned by French couple John du Monceau and Chantal, whose family roots trace back to Burgundy, the estate blends French elegance with Argentine sunshine. Quality always comes first here - Atamisque only uses fruit from its own estate vineyards and favours finesse over power. That philosophy shines through in Picaflor: expressive, balanced wines with real purity and energy, made in a gravity-fed winery designed to let the fruit do the talking. We’re super proud to partner with a producer that shares our love of great flavour, thoughtful farming and wines that are simply a pleasure to drink.

Pairing guide
This wine’s combination of richness, freshness and minerality makes it wonderfully versatile at the table. It’s a natural partner for roast chicken with lemon and herbs, creamy risottos or grilled fish with a buttery sauce. For a vegan option, try roasted cauliflower steaks with white miso, garlic and olive oil, served alongside herby lentils or a silky parsnip purée. The wine’s acidity cuts through the richness, while its orchard fruit and gentle creaminess echo the savoury-sweet flavours on the plate, creating a beautifully balanced pairing.

Wine region
Uco Valley, Argentina
The Uco Valley is arguably home to some of Argentina's finest wine producers. This sub-region is part of the wider region of Mendoza, the premier wine-growing region in the country. Uco is slightly more unique that the rest of the region due to its higher-altitude vineyards. This often leads to wine styles with a little more balance and restraint, and they often come in with more florality than their lower-altitude counterparts. The region has seen significant investment over the years, and some of the world's household wine names now own vineyards in these parts.
