Details
This is an intense and powerful Assyrtiko. We love the waxy textual element here, with notes and flavours of orange blossom, marmalade and honey. Rich, luxurious and opulent, but still with that characterful backbone of Assyrtiko acidity. Great wine.

Pairing guide
We truly can’t get enough Assyrtiko wines in our lives right now, and this stunning bottle from Argyriou goes some way towards showing why it’s become such a wildly popular wine style recently. It’s a great bottle to crack open alongside a classic Greek salad or any spinach and feta combo, and will also work well with stuffed vine leaves packed with minted rice and olives, grilled mussels and other seafood with a citrus crumb, and heartier fish dishes like red snapper, halibut and buttery turbot with sea vegetables. Creamy pork pasta dishes, mozzarella salads and grilled halloumi are also fantastic options to explore with this wine.
