Details
Warm, round and unapologetically fruity, this delicious and slightly sweet white blend is giving peach, nectarine, melon and mango with a hint of dried apricot and candied pineapple. A hint of golden syrup, honey and white pepper adds a lovely roundness. The residual sweetness gives it a lush, generous feel, so if you like a little sweetness in your glass, this one's got your name on it!
Origin: Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige, Northern Italy. Mainly Grown In: Northeastern Italy, with cross-border influence into Slovenia and Austria. Key Facts: Northern Italy produces some of the most sophisticated and underappreciated white blends in the world, and the secret lies largely in its geography. Sitting at the crossroads of Mediterranean warmth and Alpine freshness, the northeast in particular — Friuli especially — has long been obsessed with white winemaking in a way that the rest of Italy, distracted by its magnificent reds, has never quite matched. Pinot Grigio, Pinot Bianco, Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, and Chardonnay all feature prominently, often blended to achieve complexity and balance. The results range from crisp and mineral to richly textured and amber-hued, depending on how adventurous the winemaker is feeling. This is a region that rewards curiosity. Fun Fact: Prosecco, Italy's most exported sparkling wine, is made primarily from Glera in the Veneto and is technically a blend in its most basic form — though the word "blend" rarely appears on the label, presumably because "Prosecco" does a better job of selling bottles.

Pairing guide
The sweetness here opens up some really fun pairing territory. It's lovely alongside spicy food - a Thai green curry, a mango chicken with jasmine rice, or crispy salt and pepper tofu - where the fruity sweetness acts as a brilliant counterweight to the heat. The peach and tropical notes also love a good cheese board moment: try it with a soft, creamy brie and a drizzle of honey, or a slice of blue cheese with fresh pear. For a vegan dessert pairing, a mango and coconut panna cotta with a passionfruit drizzle is an absolute dream. Chill it well, pour generously, and enjoy without a second thought!
