Details
Grenache dominant, with around 30% Cinsault, this is a delightfully zippy and fresh rosé. Beautifully balanced, this wine displays plenty of crunchy red fruit appeal. Lean, vivid and bright - we love it!
The 'Abstrait' range was born out of Good Pair Days' eagerness to have a bit of fun - and make some killer wine! We have scoured the south of France in search of growers and winemakers who are as keen and (dare we say), as creative as we like to think we are! From zippy Sauvignon Blancs and Cinsault (for our rosé) to ripe and ready Grenache, we are delighted to have settled on this exclusive range of wines and we can't wait for you to get stuck into them. All three wines from the Abstrait range hail from the Languedoc, one of France's most important wine regions in terms of volume output, but with so much quality to be enjoyed at the same time. We are proud of this range, so let us know what you think! The winemaking here is pretty classical, favouring steel ferments to promote as much primary fruit as possible. All of these wines are certified vegan. Enjoy!

Pairing guide
This gorgeous rosé is a real delight of a pink wine, perfectly encapsulating the charming terroir and laid-back lifestyle of its magnificent corner of France. We loved how well this wine paired with a classic bouillabaisse soup and other fishy treats, and you’ll also find excellent results pairing this wine with soft cheeses, fennel sausages and pork chop dishes. Buttermilk chicken, pomegranate pilaf and other rice and couscous creations will also work very well, and it’s particularly good with grilled prawn tapas and other seafood recipes.

Wine region

Languedoc, France
The Languedoc wine region is located in the south of France, in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. It is the largest wine-producing region in France and is known for its wide variety of wine styles, including red, white, rosé, and sparkling. As a younger region, Languedoc has less restrictive wine growing laws making it a virtual oasis for progressive winemakers. As a result, you may find many innovative, even atypical blends in this region, that represent excellent value. Of the numerous varieties available in Languedoc Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, and Viognier are the stand outs. Top producers are known showcasing the unique character of the Languedoc region, including Mas de Daumas Gassac, Château de Saint-Martin, Mas Jullien, and Château d'Angles. Languedoc, watch this space!
