Story
Purus is the kind of project you hear about from a friend who’s genuinely into wine. Founded by passionate wine lovers Jean-Charles Dekandelaer and Constantin Denis, the winery is built on a refreshingly modern set of values: sustainability, transparency, health, and community. Everything starts with certified-organic vineyards and ends with minimum-waste bottling, all designed to leave a light footprint on the planet. And because Purus believes good moments should be for everyone, they’ve created a culture that’s welcoming, inclusive, and happily hangover-free.
Their Sparkling Blanc de Blancs is the bottle you pull out when you want the full celebration, without the hangover. Made from 100% organic Chardonnay, it’s crafted just like a traditional wine before being gently de-alcoholised by vacuum distillation. Fine, elegant bubbles complement subtle, fruity notes - apple, a touch of grapefruit, a little candied lemon. The palate is crisp, dry, and fresh, with just the tiniest hint of sweetness to keep things balanced. It’s vibrant, clean, and genuinely delicious. In short: 100% organic, 0.05% alcohol, and absolutely 100% fun.

PAIRING GUIDE
Pair this Sparkling Blanc de Blancs with the kind of food that feels effortless but still a bit special. Think crispy salt-and-pepper tofu bites with a squeeze of lemon, or a bright shaved fennel and green apple salad that mirrors the wine’s freshness. It’s magic with lighter seafood too - try simple grilled prawns with chilli-lime butter or a smoked trout pâté on toasted sourdough. And if you’re feeling a little adventurous, go for a peach and burrata flatbread with fresh basil; the wine’s fine bubbles and subtle sweetness lift every bite.
