Story
Nestled in the historic heart of Rochester, Kent, Moot Brew Co is a fiercely independent UK brewery with a big personality and an even bigger passion for exceptional beer. Founded by local beer lover and self-taught brewer Jack Croucher, Moot was born out of a desire to shake up the traditional scene with bold, expressive brews that are as thoughtful as they are drinkable.
Jack’s journey from home brewing tinkerer to full-blown brewery boss is one powered by hops, hustle, and a deep love for the community something you’ll feel the moment you step into Moot’s vibrant taproom. Whether you're catching the latest collab on keg or sipping a pint in the sunshine at one of their buzzing events, Moot's venues have become a must-visit for craft beer pilgrims and Rochester locals alike.
Their beer range is a playful yet punchy mix of modern styles, from juicy IPAs and crisp lagers to experimental sours and silky stouts, each one brewed with care, character, and a bit of cheek. With an eye for quality and a heart for fun, Moot keeps things fresh, unfiltered, and always exciting.
KAPA is Moot’s Kentish twist on the American Pale Ale, zesty, peachy, and delightfully refreshing. With bright citrus notes, soft pine, and a balanced bitterness, it’s the ultimate spring-to-summer sipper. Light, flavourful, and endlessly satisfying!

PAIRING GUIDE
In case you were wondering, KAPA stands for ‘Kentish American Pale Ale’ - a marriage of two beer styles that well and truly hits the high notes. Beautifully hoppy and flavourful, this craft beer is a great match for hearty homemade dishes featuring grilled chicken thighs, root vegetables (especially sweet potatoes and roasted carrots), and a decent hit of spice. We reckon it’s a top pairing for classic stews, too; Hungarian goulash, chicken or lamb tagine, and paprikash especially. Tikka masala and other Indian takeaway favourites will work perfectly, and it’s a great choice for barbecued meats and veggies, too.
