Story
Tucked away in leafy South East London, Brockley Brewery has been proudly brewing since 2013, when a group of local residents decided their neighbourhood deserved something better than mass-produced pints. Founded on a spirit of community, independence and a passion for flavour, the brewery has become a cornerstone of Brockley life, here the beer is as vibrant as the people who drink it.
The range is a celebration of British brewing with a modern twist. You’ll find crisp lagers, hop-forward pale ales, smooth bitters and seasonal specials that keep things exciting for regulars and newcomers alike. Each beer is crafted with care, using top-quality ingredients, and named to reflect the brewery’s roots and playful character.
Brockley Brewery doesn’t just stop at great beer, it’s all about creating places where people can come together. Their taprooms, including the original in Brockley and a lively space in Hither Green, are community hubs where locals gather for fresh pints, events and the occasional street party.
In just over a decade, Brockley Brewery has brewed itself into local history: a grassroots success story that proves when neighbours come together, they can build not just a brewery, but a lasting legacy.
For our next outing with them and this month’s pick, we have chosen their 'Session IPA'. Smooth, juicy, and perfectly balanced, it’s the kind of beer that keeps you coming back for another pint and does exactly what it says on the tin!

PAIRING GUIDE
Flying the flag for South East London’s craft beer scene, the Brockley Brewery has made a real name for itself in recent years on the back of some seriously tasty releases. This IPA ticks all the right boxes, and that hoppy, dry and refreshing character makes it a fabulous pairing partner for some of our favourite dishes and light bites. This one is going to work especially well with street food faves like samosa chaat, spicy smash burgers and mac ‘n’ cheese, and will also work well with aubergine dishes featuring plenty of harissa or similar fiery additions. Indian curries, Thai noodle dishes and fried fish are also very welcome here.
