Story

Anarchy Brew Co. doesn’t play by the rules, and that’s exactly the point. Born in 2012 from the minds of rebellious husband-and-wife duo Dawn and Simon Miles, this North Tyneside brewery has been tearing up the craft beer playbook ever since. What started as a wild idea fuelled by a love for full-flavoured beer and loud music has evolved into a full-throttle brewing operation with attitude in every can.

The taproom? It’s not your average Sunday session. Tucked inside their industrial HQ, it’s a gritty, no-frills haven where the beer flows cold, the tunes are loud, and the vibes are unapologetically raw. Expect street food, live bands, and a crowd that knows their hops from their haze.

Their line-up smashes expectations, from the easy-going 'Citra Star' to the chaos-fuelled espresso stout 'Sublime Chaos' Anarchy’s beers are bold, brash, and built to stand out. No gimmicks, just seriously good beer brewed by people who give a damn.

For August with Anarchy, we would like to introduce you to their flagship brew 'Blonde Star'. This is a crisp, citrusy 4.1% blonde ale that packs way more punch than its easy-drinking style suggests. Light, refreshing, and bursting with US hops, it’s the gateway beer that turns casual drinkers into loyal fans.

PAIRING GUIDE

Deliciously zesty and bright, this citrussy IPA is ideal for sunny afternoons surrounded by great food and friends. All that crispness and bite makes it the ideal pairing for spicy Asian fare - we reckon it’s going to taste great with vegetarian Indian curries, Thai noodle recipes and fiery Sichuan dishes with plenty of chilli. However, it’s also great with homemade beef, pork, chicken or veggie burgers, and will also work really well with hummus and other Mediterranean light bites.
