Details
The Reserva Sauvignon Blanc from the Indómita team shows plenty of depth with a lemon drive on the palate; you'll think you are going 120 on a highway with the windows down! This is pithy and zesty, with a welcoming textural crunch, and finishes with a touch of pineapple that wraps things up nicely.

Viña Indómita is located in the heart of Chile's wine country, with its winery located in the wine region of Casablanca, as well as owning vineyards in the Central Valley region of Maipo. Casablanca is located between Valparaiso and Santiago with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, where you will find plenty of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir planted in this maritime dream. The Central Valley, by comparison, is a garden of Eden, with fertile soils perfect for producing a wide range of fruit and vegetables to feed the nation, as well as supplying plenty of land ideal for vineyards. Viña Indómita have several labels, and GPD are keen to introduce you to their main Indómita range, where they focus on local varieties like Carménère as well as all the usual suspects from Sauvignon Blanc to Merlot. The winery is relatively new to the game, however, that hasn’t stopped them from focusing on tourism and wine tastings in the region.

Pairing guide
This deliciously crisp and zesty Sauvignon Blanc is a fantastic example of Chilean produce, and it’s impressively versatile when it comes to food pairing - the list of dishes and ingredients to match with this bottle just goes on and on! We’re talking scallops with parmesan and citrus dressing, chicken breasts stuffed with mozzarella and fresh herbs, white fish fillets, vegetable risotto and much more besides. Creamy cheeses, simple pasta dishes, crispy noodles, Thai curries, chilli and garlic prawns and green vegetables like asparagus and peas will also work brilliantly.
