Our shelves (and fridges!) are filled with local and international wines chosen by people who really know their stuff, including our wine team led by Banjo Harris Plane, three-time Australian Sommelier of the Year. Many are imported exclusively by us, and the range changes often, so there's always something new to taste, take home, and totally fall for.

Ella
Store ManagerA Londoner who swapped one wine city for another and runs the show at Crown Street. She keeps the atmosphere warm and the wine menu long. If you need a hand or do anything while you're in, Ella's your person.
Sam
SommelierOne of our in-house sommeliers and a resident fermentation expert (MSc included). Give him a vibe, a grape, or a budget and Sam will help you find a drop you’ll love.
FAQs
Do I need to book, or can I just walk in?
Walk-ins are always welcome. But we do suggest booking ahead for a busy event or a larger group, so we can save you a spot.
Book a table →Do I have to be a member to drink here?
Not at all. Anyone can pull up a stool and drink in. Membership just unlocks the extras: venue pricing, no corkage, points and birthday perks.
Do you do food or can I bring my own?
There's no BYO food, but there's always something to eat alongside your glass. Take a look at what's on.
Are dogs allowed at the venue?
Definitely. We have full seating and service on the patio where you and your dog can relax.
Are kids allowed at the venue?
Absolutely! Bring them.
Do you cater to non-drinkers and have any non-alcohol options?
Yes. We keep non-alcoholic options on hand, so there's something good in your glass whether or not there's alcohol in it.
Do you charge corkage?
Not for members: take any bottle off the wall and drink it in at shelf price. Non-members pay a small corkage to drink in. Want to become a member? Ask our team and we can get you sorted quick.
Is it cheaper to take a bottle home than to drink in?
Take a bottle home and we'll never charge corkage. Become a member and you can drink that same bottle in at the same price; non-members just pay a small corkage to drink in.
I've heard Good Pair Days does wine delivery. Does that mean you do Uber Eats?
We do home delivery, but it's not an on-demand service like Uber Eats. So you can order wines anytime or set up a monthly delivery, and we'll dispatch them to your door. Sydney orders usually arrive within 1-3 days.
Can you deliver wine to me after I've visited?
Yes, anywhere in Australia! Become a member and we'll ship whatever you've fallen for, just like any other order. Or sign up for a wine subscription and we'll find you new wines to love each and every month.
Can I hire this space for a private event?
Yes. The room takes up to 60 standing or 56 seated, and we host everything from corporate drinks to birthdays. Send us an enquiry and we'll help you plan it.
